'Minecraft' Daylight Sensor feature has been announced at Minecon

Earlier this morning, Jens Bergensten announced an exciting new feature for “Minecraft” that was revealed at Minecon. Delivered through his official Twitter account, Jeb confirms that a daylight sensor will be making its way into “Minecraft.” In addition to providing news of this feature, he has also delivered a new screenshot that showcases this feature in action.
With this type of functionality being implemented within “Minecraft,” players will now have the ability to enable functions within the game based on the day and night cycle within the game world. This can be used in conjunction with items such as torches, as players will have the ability to activate torches as the sun sets, or turn them off as the sun rises.
