December update for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

4J Studios and co. has not given any clues about the release date of 1.2.3, but we could assume that they are hard at work in refining the patch after the release of 1.8.2 update.
Releasing a new update next month is something they should do as they are a lot of people expected to browse Xbox Live in the holiday season and what better way to promote Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition if not an introduction of some features in 1.2.3 update that could tempt people to jump into this block-building game?
Spawning eggs, brewing potions, new mobs are among list of things that you can do with the new version that will be available as an update in Xbox Live.
Following the launch in May this year, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition has sold over 4 Million copies and 4J Studios’ console port has goes quadruple platinum due to this achievement
