Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition players have already received the 1.8.2 update that has been released last month on Xbox Live by 4J Studios but the real concern right now for them is the expected arrival of 1.2.3 patch which gonna set a new milestone for Minecraft on console.
In the next update, Minecrafters will have new mobs to play with. Ocelots, Cats, Iron Golem, Snow Golem, Ender Dragon, Villagers, Blaze, and Magma Cube are among the mobs that are not available with the current version.
Not just that, zombies are also making a huge influence in 1.2.3 as village will be targeted by a group of zombies that attack and kill the villagers no matter how well light the area is.
Thus, we hope that 4J Studios are making a real progress in bringing the 1.2.3 update for the Xbox 360 title which I hope to have some new information in the coming weeks as Minecon 2012 just kicking off recently.
