We're not 100% sure on that point during the announced dead space 3 only (star of our cover of August 12 Edition) that our demonstration takes place, but we know that this is the first time during the game that returning hero Isaac Clarke plays in Tau Volantis — a planet perpetually frozen populated by both icky Necromorphs that vary in size from the giant-sized smallies skittering oppressive to religious sect very human dinoe-crazy of Unitology.

Before this point, you are on a ship with a familiar face. Ellie, the woman who helped you out of a jam resistant in Dead Space 2 is talking to Isaac on a planet "where it all began." This, of course, happens about 20 seconds before his ship's cracked in half and Ellie is sucked into the void-poor. She survive? We are not lucky enough to discover that Isaac is plunged into a series of meetings in Tau Volantis.

At this point, we're treated to a demonstration of co-op, where we found a partner in survival of Issac, John Carver, as they face off against a spinning drill wandering, Berserker-like. The intense fighting involves the use of Stasis — both characters have the same skills, so it doesn't matter who is filling the role of advocate or drill-stasis-ing — to freeze the machines out of control and shoot at its core. Meanwhile, the other character help, keeping invasive Necromorphs in the Bay or force them into the path of drill for some action tenderizing.
Once the drill is yesterday's news, is going to a snowy wasteland, where you will depart some Unitologists shortly before being confronted with the mother of all the Necromorphs: a giant monstrosity of looms and readily uses its jaws ciffside giants to suck you, along with friend and foe alike, for he is apparently km long esophageal tract.

As the demo, we got a peek into winds that you expect inside the giant Beast as you are pushed, pulled and eventually plopped in a cavity of the stomach-like, full of fluid. As you splish-splash into an ocean of Goo transparent, a protrusion uvula-as seeps beneath the surface than it seems to be a stomach and hung with a handful of convenient glowy bags. We suspect you'll want to shoot these bags, son. But unfortunately the demo comes to an end, with the Executive producer of the Dead Space franchise quipping that Isaac and Carver certainly won't be leaving the same way you came. Dammit!
Isaac's trip may be a way out, that with its release date of February 2013, but we're already anticipating that Dead Space 3 is going to be one of the games to watch on increasingly crowded the first quarter of next year.
