NBA Baller beats hands-on preview (with official trailer!)

E3 2012

When this rhythm game Kinect basketball was first announced, it seemed to have more snarky comments from the Internet, the number of shots, Kobe Bryant leads during the NBA Playoffs. In particular, hating Kinect comedians postulated about HDTVs and comradeship apartment neighbor is being destroyed by basketballs retrograde and booming soundtrack of the game, respectively. After having spent almost an hour with this unique experience, we can say that while the game is really high, you can be sure that your entertainment center is secure, and for all the comment trolling, this game can really teach you some very cool.

NBA Baller Beats is basically an aros version-infused Dance Central. Instead of setting double Dig Ems on the dance floor, you'll be bouncing a basketball and doing tricks like dribbling flow, direct pump fakes and junctions, Hopkins back, all in time with classical music and modern hits. The interaction of soundtrack is presented similarly to Rock band, like a basketball will be faster down a ScrollBar pace you have to dribble the ball into line with (in other words, when the ball/note crosses the line, the rock hits the ground) when using the right hand.

Fortunately, you do not need to match each unique combination to keep your dribble going, how to play multiplier increases each time you successfully performs a trick. At the easiest levels, you won't have to do much more than from crosses to switch hands dripping and fake passes on your right (so your TV is saved if you accidentally let go of the ball), but increasing the difficulty level will have to play the ball between his legs, tossing it around its trunk or even change the jump progressby changing the dynamics on a dime. If some of the toughest tricks sound alarming, rest assured that every one of the 20 moves can be practiced in the game's expansive tutorials.

Believe it or not, I actually learned quite a bit during our brief time with NBA Baller Beats, as both OXM staff who have experienced the game improvement reported in their skills of finta left. We look forward to keep practicing — although we think we'll buy our neighbors downstairs a six-pack advanced-apology for the first time.
